The Soulas Spring

Situated next to the Zeioula river between the sixth and seventh watermill this somewhat hidden hot spring forms a pool that is warm enough to bathe in even in the dead of winter. Something for the brave to consider....
As with all the ancient Natural hot springs of the area that were obviously used by Hippocrates at the  Asclepeion it is supposed to have some healing powers...

The Gournia Spring

Nestled under a rock in a relatively remote part of Kefalos, just off a dirt road, lies the beautiful Gournia spring. It's quite an unexpected find in a place where you would least expect an abundance of fresh water...

The Moussa well

This beautiful well is situated inland near the road leading the Robinson Club. It still has a lot of water in it although it seems that it scarcely used.

Fragopigado spring

This spring is situated in the hills on the road that leads to Antimachia from the church of St George in the Mastichari area. There is nothing much to see other than a lot of water and an accumulation of reeds.

The Skala Spring

Situated just off the road that leads to the Robinson club lies this beautiful little spring, the only one around this area...

Spring of St George Thiriavlis

This spring is situated close to the Church of St George Thiriavlis in Zia.

The Poria Spring

The Poria Spring is situated just off the roundabout in Antimachia, near the airport next to the road that leads to Kardamena. It is well hidden but definitely worth a visit. It usually hosts a nativity scene during the Christmas holidays.

The Vourina Spring

The Vourina Spring is situated roughly half an hour away from Kos Town. To enter it you have to go down a long corridor of around thirty meters at the end of which you will get to a chamber with a vaulted roof probably dating back to Hellenistic times. A square opening at the top provides adequate air and light. The water from the spring is channeled towards Kos Town providing most of the town's water. A small chamber can be found at the beginning of the corridor that was probably used by guardians of the spring.
