This Italian path was built to connect the village of Pothia with Vathi. It begins very close to where the current archaeological museum is situated. The first part is a nice well kept paved path winding up right up to the top of the Mountain. From then on it's more of a goat trail. This is definitely something to consider for sometime in the fall or the spring. In any case the views going up from Pothia are simply stunning so I thought I would share them here with you.
