The Cape Krikelos area is characterized by its rugged terrain, its sparse vegetation and the total absence of any kind of fauna. It is a wild and desolate place. There are plenty of amazing mostly grey and/or reddish rocks dispersed all over the region. Shaped by the elements to which they are constantly exposed, they have taken on their current forms after weathering tremendous storms. The terrain is full of crags, crevices and precipices while scattered among them are great slabs of jagged rock, beautiful large boulders and plenty of stones. In the pictures that follow I have tried to give you a sample of the marvels you can admire and if you just let your imagination run free you will recognize many familiar shapes in nature's carvings...
