This beautiful Nisyrian little mountain village is off the beaten track but seems quite lively and well kept. You will certainly need a car to reach it but the detour is well worth it. The style is strictly traditional and being somewhat more secluded it is not as "touristy" as the seaside villages of the island. There are a couple of tavernas in the village and you can eat and drink while enjoying the view of the sea. You can also admire the Caldera from different truly stunning viewpoints.
