This aqueduct dates back to the Ottoman era and can be found alongside the road leading to Ambavris just West of the Casa Romana. Although it has suffered somewhat; in some places the walls have crumbled, there is still a sizeable part of it still practically intact, giving you a fairly good idea of what it used to look like. This aqueduct was probably used to channel water from springs such as Vourina (which actually to this day remains the primary source of drinking water) all the way down to Kos Town.
