Water is a resource that has always been abundant on the island of Kos enabling it to maintain a thriving agricultural sector. There are numerous little streams flowing down the slopes of the Dikaios Mountain range that allow the farmers to water their fields in the Koan plains. Water is plentiful during spring and starts to dwindle as we get into summer. This specific stream runs down the gully just before the entrance of the Old Pyli settlement and is a refreshing site during the hot days of late spring and all through the summer.
