It's an amazing spring here in Mastichari, there are little birds everywhere. The swallows are particularly numerous, and playful as ever. Courting, mating, or just flying about. Some of them have actually gone really serious (mated swallows are monogamous) and started building their mud nests in sheltered corners under the balconies. There's a lot of chirping, tweeting and singing going on, in a very laid back atmosphere. I thought I'd share a few pictures.
