South of the village of Zia roughly 150 meters away from the main square, surrounded by woods, in a location named Kefalovrisi (named after the water source that can be found in the area) lies the Church of Presentation of the Virgin Mary. The Church was built in two distinct phases. The oldest is the covered area of the Holy Sanctuary. The main church, the ante nave and the portico were all built later. The interior of the church is adorned by murals which have been covered by whitewash.
