Some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches on Kos Island are situated in Aghios Theologos. Located about 7kms southwest of Kefalos village the area owes its name to the church of Aghios Ioannis Theologos (St.John the Theologian), which the locals honor with a festival on the 29th of August. Its beautiful creeks and rocky coves are well worth the trip, even though some of the journey is a bit rough... on a dirt road that is usually in relatively good condition.
